Hi, I’m Annie.

Annie McLoughlin is a writer and illustrator with a focus in children’s literature. Annie creates her work with care for small things—nature, animals, and feelings you find tucked away in a memory.

When Annie was 5, she went to Disneyland. Her favorite part of the day was, “the fuzzy caterpillar in the parking lot.” This is the nature of her work.

Annie grew up north of Boston, making art with her mom in their barn studio. She is a graduate of Hampshire college with a BA in Studio Art and Writing. When she is not creating, you can find her in the garden or hiking in the White Mountains.
